Have you had success flipping domains?
Domain flipping is something I have looked into many times but it's not something I have taken part in as I don't feel I have the time to be able to jump on domains I know would be successful should I decide to flip them. I have heard about many people who flip domains frequently and they have a lot of success with domain flipping. Have you flipped domains before? How successful have you been flipping domains?

What domain extension would you not use?
If you are someone who tends to buy domains quite frequently, you will know there are a lot of domain extensions, some of which many of us would never use and some of which we prefer to choose and use when we purchase a new domain. Of all the domain extensions you know that are available, which extensions do you avoid at all costs? What are your reasons for avoiding these extensions?

Using Youtube and other video platforms for marketing
At the moment, I am not utilizing video platforms to promote my sites but I am looking into creating channels on both YouTube and TikTok to help promote one forum I am slowly working on. This is the first time I have created and built up a forum that I am working on slowly to succeed so it's a different journey but an exciting and interesting one.

Freelancing: Primary Income Source or Just a Side Hustle?
I started out doing freelancing work as a part-time thing to make a little extra money but things changed and I moved to freelancing full-time to make a solid income. I am happy to say that I have been able to make a solid income over the last year and a half or just over that I have been freelancing full-time but it was slow at first whilst I gained clients who then became regular clients. One tip I would say for anyone making the leap to freelancing is to not expect to make a full-time income from the start, it could take weeks or even months, maybe longer before you see that kind of income. Always have a backup in the beginning.

Tracking expenses & Income
At the moment I don't use any software or apps to track my income and expenses. When I do need to declare my income and expenses each month I tend to keep track through my PayPal as that is where I receive most if not all payments each month and I write down any expenses through that month to help me keep track. I am going to look into Wave Apps though, it may help to keep things more organized.

How many hours do you put into freelance work?
I find that I put anything from 6 - 12 hours into my freelance work as I work from home and for myself. I was at one point working more than 12 hours a day and that was causing burnout and health issues so I had to sit and set myself goals to be sure I stuck to a certain amount of hours rather than just working for hours on end without a thought.

Offering Discounts to Friends and Family
As of right now, none of my friends or family need to make use of the services that I offer either because it is not something that would help their business or they just don't need it at the moment. If my friends or family ever needed to use my services, I would give them a discount without a second thought.

Do you have business cards?
Business cards are again something I have looked into but have not chosen to use yet. After considering everything and due to most of my clients coming from online advertising, I couldn't justify investing in business cards that may not have much use.

Have you used a billboard to promote your business?
I have not used a billboard to promote my business, I had thought about it in the past but due to the services I offer, having a billboard I felt at least at the time wouldn't have been a good investment for my business so I left it. I have found advertising in numerous places online was the better option for me in terms of advertising and getting new clients.

Do you start with a website?
I would say it depends on what you are offering and whether or not having a website would be worthwhile for you. I didn't have a website for the longest time after I started and it wasn't until I go much busier that I decided to create a website for myself.

As a webmaster, how many words are you happy with for an article on your website?
Depending on the kind of webmaster you are and the niche of your website, it can vary as to how many words per article your are happy and satisfied with. I have known some webmasters to be happy with 500 words, some to be happy with 800 and others tend to only be happy with 1000 words or more. As a webmaster yourself, how many words for an article are you satisfied with having on your website?

Do you create websites based on current viral trends?
Something I have always wanted to do but have never really had the time to do it is to create websites based on current viral trends or current niches that are trending. I have heard that if you hit these right, you could have a very successful website as long as the dedication is there and the time is put in. Do you create websites based on the current viral trends? How much success have you had doing this?

How many websites have you managed at one time?
As a webmaster, some of us can only successfully run and manage one website at a time, but some of us can run more than one website at a time if we balance our time and dedication correctly. I at the moment run one website and I co-own another website and with both of those and everything else I do, I don't think I could ever run another site, at least not at the moment. As a webmaster, how many websites can you manage at once? Have you ever attempted to run more websites and found later on it was too much for you?

How did you learn HTML?
HTML was something I learned very early on in my creating websites. I always remember I started out using Geocities to create my first websites and I used a lot of HTML when doing that and learned what I know today through trial and error. I know there is still so much more I could learn regarding HTML, but what I know so far helps me out a great deal. How did you learn HTML?

How did you learn CSS?
CSS was not something I started to learn until long after I started to learn HTML which was something I started to learn when I was around 14/15 years old and I used Geocities to build websites. CSS I only started to learn after I started creating and running forums when I wanted to change elements on themes and such, I was surprised at how easy CSS was. How did you learn CSS?

What type of coding would you rather avoid?
When it comes to coding, there are some types of coding we love to work on and then there are certain types of coding we would rather avoid at all costs if we can. I have always enjoyed working with HTML and CSS and I would say they are my favourites to work with, anything other than that I am not so keen on. What type of coding would you rather avoid?

Have you used AI to create designs in the past?
Something I have enjoyed doing is using AI to see what results I can get in terms of graphics. I have often been amazed at the results I have received and messing about in terms of the information I input has been something I could spend hours doing. Have you used AI to create graphics? What would you say was your best result and do you remember what information you used to gain that result?
-
Have you ever attempted to sell graphics you created through AI?
Something I have done in the past is mess around with AI inputting information and seeing what the results are, it's interesting to see what it comes up with and some of the results can be pretty amazing. As much as I have messed around with AI to create graphics, I have never attempted to sell any of them, I would rather create graphics myself to sell than use AI to create them and charge. Have you used AI to create graphics? Have you attempted to sell any of your graphics results?
-
Do you feel AI will impact graphics designers in the future?
Many of us are now aware of AI and what it is capable of doing, some of us may have even used AI in the past for things such as graphics design just to see what results we can get from the information we input. One of the biggest worries about AI is whether or not it may take over jobs with graphics designers being those who could potentially be impacted by AI. What are your thoughts? Could AI affect the jobs of graphics designers?

How long have you been creating graphics?
I wouldn't say that graphics designing is something I do too often and I don't tend to make money from graphics design either, sometimes a little every few months but not something that makes me regular income. I started creating graphics in around 2005 and throughout the years, I have learned so much and can create most graphics for personal projects myself so around 19 years of working on graphics to an extent. How long have you been working on graphics for?

What are your favourite graphics to create?
As graphics designers, we create many different graphics for clients and in some cases, for our projects. As much as we may enjoy creating graphics and we do have some graphics that we are not too keen to work on, we also have those graphics we love to create and we could spend hours creating these specific ones. As a graphics designer, what graphics would you say are your favourite to create?

What do you not like to see in a theme?
When it comes to creating website themes yourself or seeing others who have created website themes, what is the one thing you dislike to see within any theme? What are your reasons for disliking this specific thing within a theme? Is it something you ensure you tell others if you hire someone to create a theme for you?

What is your pet peeve when it comes to creating graphics?
As a graphics designer, as much as we will have things we enjoy about creating graphics, we may also have pet peeves, things we do not like to see when it comes to creating graphics. As a graphics designer, what is your biggest pet peeve? What makes this specific thing frustrating for you when you see others doing in in graphics design?
