Having a portfolio would be a good way to promote oneself professionally. I always thought to have one when I was planning to have writing as my full time career. But then I landed in a job and I loved it. For now, writing is my passion and I am mostly writing for my own pleasure. If I ever want to go back to it as a career, a portfolio would be helpful. Right now, my blog can be a peep into my writing style.

Hello everyone, I am Arunima, a new comer here. I have just joined the site through Nomad's referral. It has been few hours of joining here. I am still exploring the site and trying to learn about it. It's good to see some known names and faces from the other forums. Looking forward to a good journey here. Thank you.
  4. Recently, I have started using Grammarly. But I have it only on my laptop. I should see if it is available on mobile too. My elder daughter downloaded it for me. I can say that in short time, I have learnt a lot. Earlier, I repeatedly made certain mistakes out of habit. Now I am aware of them and try to avoid them.

That sounds like a really great offer. Unfortunately, I am not into video games and other online games. If I was into that and had enough knowledge about it, I would have loved to grab the opportunity. I am sure that there would be many takers here for this lucrative offer. Wishing you all the best for your forum
  6. Free tools are available to everyone for use. But then your client has outsourced the work to you for some valid reasons, be it for time constraint or he has other better responsibilities at work and he wants some load to be shared. You have put your time, effort and skill to get the work done. So, you fully deserve to be compensated for the same. There is nothing wrong or unethical here. It's a part of your job.
