What's your favorite means for receiving payment?
PayPal would have been my favorite payment method but due to certain restrictions, we are not allowed to use PayPal here. The payment method I use is cryptocurrency, especially Litecoin. I have been using Litecoin for a long time now. One thing I love about it is that I can easily convert my coins to my local cash and the transaction fees for Litecoin is very small.

How many hours do you put into freelance work?
When it comes to my work and how much time I spend doing it, there is no specific time frame. It mostly depends on the nature of the work. There are times I spend almost the whole day on just a single project, then there are days where I only spend a few hours.

Do you make enough to live on with your freelancing work?
There was a time I had hoped to become a full-time freelancer, but since then, I have not been able to score any gig; right now, I just see freelancing as a side hustle since I already have an online business.

Print on Demand Business
Print-on-demand is a very lucrative business to go into, especially for those who want to start something online. The best part about print-on-demand is that it is risk-free. You do not have to buy products or produce anything on the ground, then start praying you get customers. Production takes place only when there is a demand.

Have you used a billboard to promote your business?
Using a billboard can be very effective when it comes to advertising. I have never used a billboard before to advertise my business because it is extremely expensive. The highest I have done is make use of flyers in various busy locations.

Do you have business cards?
Having a business card, or complimentary card, as some would call it, is extremely important for a business or brand. One of the major importance of having one is that it creates a sense of professionalism in the minds of potential clients. At the moment I do not have a business card for my brand because I have not officially registered my business name. The moment I am done with this, having a business card would be the first thing I do.

Is Escrow Important?
I believe to ensure rest of mind when carrying out a transaction online with a client or vendor, the use of Escrow is extremely important but not compulsory. I have seen people who run their business online with the use of escrow, and things are still going well for them. The use of Escrow only creates a safer ground to carry out your transactions.

Do you earn money on survey websites?
There was a time when I had an interest in working on survey sites. I spent weeks looking for a legitimate survey site. Over time, I came to realize that it's not that there were no legit survey sites out there, but my geographical region was the case. It turned out that it was extremely hard to find a survey site that supports Africa.

Offering Discounts to Friends and Family
When it comes to rendering my services to my friends and family, I usually give them a fair price I know they can handle. Business is business, the materials and resources I use are not free, so I can't exactly give them for free. Though there have been times I have done certain designs for free, it is only in my free time.

Would you consider hiring freelancers for your business?
My business is still new and it's at a stage where I can handle most of the work myself. While I would love to hire freelancers for certain projects, I won't be able to handle it since the capital that comes in is on the low side. I believe with time my business will grow to a stage where hiring workers will not be an issue.
-
Do you offer recurring client discounts?
It's always a joy to have recurring customers. I believe that's the wish of every freelancer or even business owner, but this doesn't give them a free pass to a discount; I only give out discounts when I feel there is a need for one or during promo. The moment you make discounts a common thing, they will start feeling entitled, and whenever you refuse, you automatically become the bad guy.

How long do you store client files?
I have handled a lot of projects for various clients before, and not once has the contract required I keep their file. I have very limited storage space for my work, so I always let them know I am not responsible for keeping their file after submission. The highest I do is to keep the file for a month or ninety days if the files are not that long.
-
How many clients do you have?
I don't have any clients. Last year, I tried working on Upwork as a freelance graphic designer. Though I admit I was not all that serious I tried bidding for some gigs but could never secure anyone. After a while, I had to give up on it. Maybe I was not patient enough or I was simply doing something wrong.

Playing mobile games on computer
I might be wrong, but I don't think there is any app like that available for iOS file games. For Android, on the other hand, BlueStacks is one of the best apps to use. I have used this once. The only difficulty you might experience is on how to control the games, especially if your laptop is not a touchscreen.

Do You Have an Online Business?
I have an offline business, but most of my business transactions are carried out online. Such as communicating with clients and sending their jobs if it's a soft copy. Then again, I had plans on starting a print-on-demand business. I took a course on Printify but could not start because I lacked the capital to kick-start the business.

Free Icons
There are lots of sites where you can download free icons from. Go to Google and search PNG downloads, I am pretty sure lots of sites would pop up. Or you can simply visit sites like pngtree, or pngwings. I make use of pngwings, and it has been delivered so far.

Do you feel AI will impact graphics designers in the future?
The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) Will definitely have an impact in the lives of graphic designers, the question is would it be a positive impact or a negative one? I feel instead of complaining or being worried about this, designers should make use of it to their own advantage. For example there are some designs í have made and the background I used was generated by artificial intelligence. Designers should take out time to learn more about AI and use it in ways others won't even imagine.

Canva Vs. Photoshop
That's what makes Photoshop different from canva. Photoshop is best for those who want to carry out their designs from scratch, while canva on the other hand, gives you access to free and premium templates you can easily edit and get your work done in just minutes.

How do you Improve Your Writing?
One of the best ways to improve your writing skills is by constant practice. There are also writing courses you can pick up both free and paid ones. Reading books that help expand your vocabulary is also a major game changer. One thing that helped my writing skills to some extent is the number of books I read.

What are the Content Creation Challenges you come across?
One of my major challenges is time management and consistency. Content creation can be time-consuming, and for someone like me who has a lot of activities offline and online, it makes it very hard to find enough time to create this content. And over time I tend to lose interest.
-
Do you prefer to write about topics that interest you?
I prefer writing on topics that interest me. I am not a professional writer, so writing on topics I have an interest in makes it a lot easier for me to flow and be able to connect with my target audience. In a situation where I don't have a choice, though, I don't mind taking up the challenge to do some research so I can write something reasonable.

Do you write scripts for video content?
I have written a few scripts for a video edit before but it was not for a professional gig. However, I also made use of AI to help polish what I already have. Writing content for video edits is not an easy task, which is one reason why I have high respect for content creators. It takes a lot of time and effort to get to where they are now.

Do you use any tools for your writing?
I have always seen writing as something I do for fun and I have never thought about taking it to a more professional level. Though I have been active in a few article writing sites like read.cash back in the days it was mostly as an amateur writer. It was a few months back when I came across Grammarly by chance and decided to give it a try. Since then, I have been using only Grammarly.

What have you found the most interesting to learn in graphic design?
I have learnt so many things over the years I have been designing, and to be honest I can't even decide on which is my favorite or the best I have learnt so far. Am not going to choose now cause I feel I still have so much to learn. Am pretty sure in the near future, I would have something I can boost about.
