What do you do when you get more off topic posts?
I think in cases like this, people get to relax in the off topic sections when they feel they can no longer relate to the other topics. Like myself, most times after i have check all through the forum and I can't find anything i can actually contribute to, i simply go to the off topic area cause i know there must definitely be something i can relate to there. I think one way to sort this out is to try create engaging contents that would attract them.

Do you think forums have the potential to grow as big as social media?
I think it's possible, but for this to happen requires lots of work, the forum has to go beyond just a forum. .more features has to be added, there would be a need for an app and so on. I don't see any forum at this level Right now though.

I think one of the best ways to do this is to gives fresh contents and create games or events that would make things fun. During these period the members can simply have fun, while they might still be doing what they have been doing every other day, it becomes much fun for them, therefore making it less stressful.

What is your pet peeve when it comes to creating graphics?
For me, I believe the quality and beauty of the pictures used on a design have the power to make a design beautiful or ugly. It's so frustrating when someone tells me to make a birthday flyer design and the picture they send me is of low quality or not really up to stranded. I always find it hard to create something with it.

Favorite songs to write to?
When it comes to what I listen to while working, I can be pretty weird with this. There are times where I simply prefer peace and quiet throughout the whole process, then there are times where some gospel worship songs puts me in the mode and even gives me more inspiration and motivation. Then there are times I just want to hear the sound of a movie.

How do you determine what the appropriate length of an article should be?
Most articles are usually between one thousand to two thousand words, but I believe the best way to determine how long or short your article should be is usually based on your target audience. Now you are asked to write an article, the first you should do is do research on who your target audience is and the level of their attention span. If your target audience is young adults, it would be best to have an average-length article.

Do you use social media to promote your writing work?
Personally I am not into professional writing, so I do not make use of social media for promotion. My sister on the other hand recently started a career in writing and she uses social media as a means to advertise her work. From what I have seen it has been effective since she has gotten a few contracts from there.

How do you stay motivated when writing is your full time job?
I have a sibling who is into writing and from what I have seen so far, writing can be very challenging. It takes a lot of effort to be consistent. There was a time she thought about taking a break but I think one of the few things that motivates her to keep writing are her readers. Most times she gets good reviews from readers asking her when the next chapter would be coming and some compliments as well.
-
How well do you handle feedback and constructive criticism on your writing?
There was a time I used to feel annoyed or irritated whenever someone corrects me, but over time I came to realize that it was mostly for my good. Instead of getting angry, I started putting more focus on the things they said and making the corrections needed. I can accept anything as long as I am not insulted in the process.

Do you need to have a degree to be a professional programmer?
You do not need to have a degree before you can become a professional programmer. I have seen cases of self-taught people, and they are doing pretty well in this field. Having a degree, on the other hand, does have its advantages. Having a good degree creates more opportunities, such as higher offers or job opportunities.
