Welcome Bankerguide, good to have you around. You've got banker in your name, is it safe to assume you've got some bucks to spare? Cos I could use some 😃
2. Do you mean chat bot replies or members just pasting AI write-ups on forums? If it is the former, I really don't have a problem with it as it can give meaningful replies that stimulate engagements. But members who just copy and paste AI contents are a huge problem to the forum.
3. Is it just me or does dark mode seem more mature than light mode? I've been using dark mode for years now, and whenever I come across a forum that doesn't offer it, I feel like an inexperienced kid surfing the web for the first time.
4. I see chat boxes to be a distraction from the regular activities on the forum. The energy channeled there would have been useful if spent on posting threads or commenting.
5. Forums and social media are 2 completely different entities. I don't think there should be any kind of integration whatsoever. I don't like logging in to my social media accounts from third party sites.
6. I don't really support rankings like that. It makes those who are new feel like they have to do so much to catch up. And most people don't like that kind of challenge, so they'd rather just go silent.
7. I believe that to an extent, verification helps filter out some bad eggs in the forum, leaving the genuine ones. So forums that want to keep real members should mandate it.
8. I'd put Instagram over LinkedIn though. Linkedin is like a place where professionals connect, not exactly a marketing hub.
9. Is Google Keyword Planner actually free though? Last I checked, you need to have a Google ads account to access it. Not a good look for people who don't plan to run paid ads.
10. Generally speaking, AI generated contents don't rank high on search engines. And I believe that is because of lack of human touch in them. That's why it is advisable to make proper edits to the contents first.
11. There are less toxic people on forums than on social media, which is a good thing for me.
12. So you mean they are welcome to make low quality posts that will have a negative effect on the forum? No ambitious forum owner would want that.
13. There is no competition. Most people on forums also make use of social media, so I don't think they enemies. I have seen cases of forum admins making use of social media for marketing. So it really depends on how one makes use of it.
14. Social media have millions of users, I doubt any forum, either past or present, can pull those numbers. Trying to out muscle social media is not really necessary though, since both are different
15. Talking about personal information with clients is a big no. One should learn to keep business dealings strictly official. So unless your client is a close childhood friend, you have no business discussing about personal matters.
