Been ridiculous. We have been experimenting with banning the main email address domains, and that seems to be helping some. 2024 was a tear down and rebuild, but for the better. We now have a much better stage set for 2025.

So I was a bit down in the dumps this Christmas. Harder time of things than I expected. But a few nights later I turned on the radio and they were playing some feel good tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and I thought, "You know what? Enough with being depressed. I'm gonna listen to some positive music until I get happy again!' Post some positive, feel good tunes from any era to start 2025 on the right foot. I think it's going to be a great year, and I hope so for this entire community, as well as our home forums, Note: YouTube links, and with lyrics whenever possible.

I'm with Shawn as well, in large part. I know it might come off as a little too high-brow, but I quite honestly don't care what most others think, If it's a staff member who has to work there every day, sure, That I'd care about because I want them happy. I'd also care about what the general membership thought if there a like some sort of virtual mutiny going on or something. But the masses in general? Wouldn't give it a thought, Why worry about it when they likely don't truly care anyway? The one person I know without doubt needs to be happy is me.

Yes. And it's only a half step higher vocally, so there should be no difference. LoL. When I was making out the chords, he used the words "cap girl." The word Cap is typical shorthand for Capricorn.

You're welcome : ) If you wanna go capo-less (not sure that's a word), you could do it in Am (Am, C, F, G). Or you could go lower and do it in F#m (F#m, A, D, E), and then you'd only have to contend with the F#m. You in love with a Capricorn or something? : ) He's singing about a woman born in January (or late December), in case that's why you liked the song.

Hard to write out measure on a page like this, but he's also hitting on the ands a lot (the B and the E), so the notation would be something like this: 1 _ _ _ 2 _ _ _ 3 _ _ _ 4 _ _ _ 1 _ _ _ 2 _ _ _ 3 _ _ _ 4 _ _ _ G#m .............. Well I'm glad if you'd be the happiest fdk in all of Europe, LoL. My acoustics were usually downtuned, (haven't played in years), but I picked one up, and it appears he's in G# minor. The chords keep revolving around G#m, B, E and F#. But either way that makes it a bar chord song. Are you into playing bar chords yet?

Hey BRANSOL, just had a chance to look, and the two you sent you were still unfinished versions. Did you send me the wrong two by accident, or just forget to make those last few adjustments? The small print line reading "One Spirit, One Body, One Forum" needs to be uniformly slanted in the Banner-2 batch header, and uniformly upright in the cursive batch : )

Btw BRANSOL, I'm not actually sure where you should be delivering the files to yet, but my Dev is supposed to be back at work today, so maybe he will have you ship them straight to him. I'll get back to you. Could I see the finished products in the meantime just to make sure?

Bransol, let's do this. $30 seems like a really good price already that I wouldn't mind just taking things step by step and do stuff one at a time (i.e. and forego worrying about any discounts for now). The thing is, it may be a little time before I can get to those other themes, and I don't even know what the 3rd one will be yet. So let's just settle accounts for now, and I will be sure and contact you the minute it looks like we are ready to do the second one. Does that sound ok? Send me a bill to get caught up, and I will keep in touch on the rest : ) I'm very pleased with your work!

Sorry I'm late. Had to go into work for awhile.. Having trouble deciding now, so let's go with two: 1. The 2nd from the Cursive batch, but with straight print for the underlying text ("One Forum") rather than slanted. and 2. The 2nd from the Second batch (Banner-2), but with cursive print for the underlying text rather than straight. I think those two are your best, and it will give me a chance to switch things out and reverse the image now and then when I'm looking for a change. Send me a confirmation of the above (2nd from Cursive with straight underlying text, and 2nd from Banner-2 with cursive underlying text) and a payment plan, and we should be good to go! Btw, we'd probably be looking at the same basic pattern, so it might be even easier moving forward. I'm currently toying with the idea of doing a black theme using the following image, so it would basically be just going through the same steps to see what looks best again next time. Getting better : ) The last is still the best, and I think the cursive is likely the better option of the two : ) How about this: We call that a wrap, and make it the first header which I'd like to buy now, but if I could, I'd like to purchase it as some sort of package to produce several of them over the next few months. I'm going to have 3 themes for that forum, and I might like having a couple of headers per theme just to change things up now and then. Can we do that? I like your work, and you're easy to work with and fast, There's also some work I could have you do in the future on creating what I term "signature banners," but we could get to that down the road.

Third one isn't terrible, btw. With these applications it might look good as well (just commenting that I hadn't scrapped the idea of using both eagles yet. Depends on the finished product. But the second is better, so thanks for taking the liberty to do things a little differently)..

Which previous image are you referring to? You mean the space the GIF was taking up?

I might actually favor the second one, only we'd have to do something about the text. I'm going for a more refined look overall, and the text seems too... blocky. I was also going to ask if we could try for using a color with a white border around it for the Christian Forums large text. And you'd definitely want to center the lower text like you did in the last one, maybe raise it a touch closer to the big text, and possibly try a little cursive to something to again avoid the blocky look. But one eagle offset to the right does seem to be a better look.
