Hello fords8, welcome to FR; you can go to the theme customizer up top next to your name; there are many options to pick from, including the dark theme.

I hear ya there; I still would rather drive in my own truck than take a bus; who knows, once I get too old, I may have to resort to this.

We don't have that here in this small town; however, when I used it years ago, they were very crowded; most of the time, I had to stand, and I never saw anyone give up a seat for anyone.

It's all good; it's much easier to stay to yourself, it seems no matter what you do to help people, it's the wrong move, LOL.
13. I have IPS on a test site, I'm waiting for them to release V5 to see how it works.

I still like to tinker with the sites that I have, but starting anything new or getting involved with other sites is something I'm not interested in. Too much Drama.
15. I still think Xenforo is #1 currently, with IPS just behind.

I do not spend much time online anymore; work keeps me busy, and when I'm home, I have projects here at the house to get done.

Welcome to the site Shortie nice to have you here.;)
18. I loved VB back in the day; however, I don't think that would ever make a comeback.
19. Overall, I think to many on staff, regardless of the rules you have, people will tend to disagree with you on certain things.
20. I think I found the correct Thems for the sites that I have, so there is nothing to change; now that I have my hand in some designing, I'll tinker with logos and stuff.

I went and got paint and flooring today for the basement; going to get that finished while I'm off.
22. Many sites do it the same way; I would like to come up with some new ways to do upgrades and promote sites.;)
23. This is a common question that many community managers face. There is no one right answer, but here are some general tips I have found on other boards that might help: - Try to understand the root cause of their behavior. Sometimes, people act out because they are frustrated, unhappy, or left out. They might need empathy, support, or guidance to overcome their challenges. - Communicate clearly and respectfully. Don't ignore, dismiss, or attack them. Instead, acknowledge their feelings and concerns, and explain your expectations and boundaries. Use positive and constructive language and avoid blaming or shaming them on open forums. - Offer solutions and alternatives. Don't just punish them if they are breaking the rules or causing problems. Instead, help them find ways to improve their situation and behavior. For example, you can suggest resources, tools, mentors, or other options that might benefit them. - Involve other members if needed. Sometimes, you might need to enlist the help of other members to deal with troubled members. For example, you can ask for feedback, advice, or support from other community moderators, leaders, or experts. You can also encourage positive peer pressure and social norms by highlighting other members' good examples and behaviors. Know when to let go. If all else fails, and the troubled member is unwilling to change or cooperate, you might have to end the relationship. This is a last resort but sometimes necessary for your community's health and harmony. Depending on the platform and situation, you can do this by banning, blocking, or removing them from your community.;)

Blogging is a popular way to share your thoughts, opinions, experiences, and passions. Whether you blog for fun, for money, or both, you probably know how rewarding it can be to connect with your audience and express yourself creatively. But blogging is not always easy. Creating and maintaining a successful blog takes time, effort, and dedication. You need to come up with engaging topics, write quality content, promote your blog, and interact with your readers. Sometimes, you might face challenges like writer's block, technical issues, or negative feedback. That's why it's important to have a clear purpose and vision for your blog, and to stay motivated and inspired along the way.:)
