What do you do as your job/career?
My first ever job I was a secretary through my school work program. I really enjoyed it, but didn't work many hours as I was still in high school. My only other job has been teaching. I've been at the same school and have been teaching for going on 8 years? I taught Special Education for 6 years and now I'm teaching Social Studies!

Is it a good idea to request posting packages?
I think it's a great concept to have content for when your community opens and it will look as if people are more active. This is more welcoming at the opening/beginning of a website/community/etc. My biggest recommendation or consideration is that I personally wouldn't request posts too early. Meaning if I Intend on opening in February, I shouldn't be requesting packages in December. I would want the packages within days of opening. The closest to opening the better. These users could also end up being beta testers and happen to come across little bugs which is also helpful!

Secrets to Cultivating Long-Term Loyalty in Online Communities
I think it starts with you as the owner, leader, common person. You must start the fire and have the passion for the niche. Having clear expectations, goals, being open can assist in creating an environment that feels more like a community. Staying consistent will build loyalty. Pulling people in and communicating with them, truly hearing them, will foster loyalty. I typically would try and communicate with everyone, but really I would also try to foster friendships with new and different people. A hello can go a long way, and make some feel truly a part of the bigger picture. I know as a member I'm more loyal when I feel like I matter to a few people. Everyone is different though and as an owner you must "read the room" get to know everyone for who they are.

Are you a loner?
I've always described myself as an introverted extrovert. I'm quiet, but can be outgoing. I feel that I recharge best being alone which I feel like is a introvert trait! While I like being around people, I just need peace too. Digital world feels different I suppose though because I choose to come to the digital world to communicate with people, but I still am happy and content because I have peace and choose to participate in whatever conversations I do participate in if that makes sense.

Do you like using subtitles?
I don't know when it happened, but eventually I just prefer to have it on when I'm watching Netflix. Some scenes are quieter than others and I feel like I might miss something. I never liked how they looked like on cable TV, and that's the only thing that stops me from using subtitles - if it is too bulky/distracting.

Heylo
Hey there. I'm Reverie but also known as Rachael. See many familiar faces~ Good to see you all! Cedric shared the link with me and I decided to look around. :) A few interests of mine are reading books, spending time with friends and family, playing a video game. Some previous communities I've been involved with are AdminJunkies, Atrium, Forum Promotion, previous to that there were an abundance of different communities. I generally enjoy general forums because my tastes vary! Looking forward to connecting with you all!
