3. This pretty much sums it up.
4. Great, more things to buy impulsively.
5. It’s hard enough managing one, so it’s even more difficult managing multiple projects at once. I often wonder how people do it. I guess at some point not every project requires the same amount of energy. Having a Project Management system will definitely aid in this.
6. And a great designer you are! ā˜ŗļø

14. Is there something obvious that tells you they're fake?

My wife uses Canva often to "design" birthday cards or similar things. It's easy to use, fast, and you can run it on any computer. There's no need for a high processor, a lot of RAM or whatever. I've had a Pro subscription but ended it since she didn't had a use for it for a while. But it's cool to see some premade stuff and with little customization it's something entirely new and different.
16. Definitely. Our abillity to be creative will especially decline in such matters.

Reminds me of No One Lives Forever. A game that's 24 years old!! We have a small community of around 10-20 weekly players (usually on Sundays) and around 100 in total that occasionally play. It's awesome, we know each other very well and often do random maps in the selection that are just so much fun every week. We even get new players every now and then. But to come back to the OP. The days of pulling all nighters are long gone for me. I've got a Playstation 5 that I turn on once every few weeks. My priorities changed, but I still consider myself a gamer. There's just not much out there that interests me anymore. I am however looking forward to the release of GTA 6. Maybe then I'll pull an all nighter.
18. Unless you're a doctor or an engineer, you don't need a degree for anything imo. Everything can be self taught if you put your mind to it and stay motivated.
19. Never knew you were so into programming. ;)
20. I can see much documents, articles, blogs, etc. being redundant because of AI. It's easier to ask AI "Write me this code" instead of looking it up in Google or other search engines. It's both easy and a shame, because we'll end up in a world where people are lazy, AI will be more and more popular while articles and blogs will disappear slowly. Is it progress? I guess in a way it is, but if it's better, that's the question.
21. I wasn’t aware until earlier this week that forum signatures count as backlinks since 2020. I’ve always thought they weren’t.
22. Indeed, it’s not just Fiverr. Trustpilot, Google, anything that offers reviews should be double checked.

Hi there šŸ‘‹ Thank you for joining and welcome to Agora! I hope this place will bring you much joy and possibilities in the future! Might be worth to check out the Freelancer Directory and have a portfolio setup. If you need any help, know that I’m just a click away! ;)
24. This is why AI is so powerful - a simple command like ā€œGive me 20 topic ideas on the subject coding and developmentā€ will prompt you with some useful ideas. Try it out. ;)
25. It's disheartening and makes you question what's genuine. It also raises concerns about why Fiverr isn't taking action. Furthermore, it makes you wonder how many clients have been deceived by these so-called freelancers. If you spend any time on Facebook or other social media platforms, you might have come across posts where people ask others to provide fake reviews for their Fiverr gigs/accounts. This is a serious issue that can mislead clients and harm the integrity of freelance marketplaces. I know what you're thinking, why should I care? Deceptive practices: When freelancers solicit fake reviews, they are essentially lying to potential clients. These reviews do not reflect the actual quality of their work. As a client, you might be swayed by these glowing reviews and end up hiring someone who isn't as competent as they appear. Risk to your projects: If you hire someone based on false reviews, your project might suffer. You could end up with subpar work, missed deadlines, or worse, a freelancer who disappears after taking your money. Damages trust: The trustworthiness of platforms like Fiverr relies on honest feedback from real clients. Fake reviews undermine this trust and make it harder for genuine freelancers to stand out. What can you do about it? Double-check reviews: Look beyond the number of stars. Read the reviews carefully. If they seem overly generic or similar, it might be a red flag. Check the reviewer's profile to see if they have a history of leaving similar reviews for different freelancers. Ask for proof: Don’t hesitate to ask freelancers for samples of their previous work. Genuine freelancers will be happy to provide examples and discuss their experience in detail. Report suspicious activity: If you come across posts on social media asking for fake reviews, report them. This helps maintain the integrity of the community and ensures that the reviews you see are more likely to be genuine. For Freelancers: Avoid fake reviews: It might seem tempting to boost your profile with a few fake reviews, but it's not worth it. Not only is it unethical, but it can also get you banned from platforms. Focus on Quality: Instead of looking for shortcuts, invest time in improving your skills and delivering high-quality work. Happy clients will leave real, positive reviews that will naturally boost your profile. Be cautious of the reviews you see on Fiverr and other freelance platforms. Not all reviews are genuine, and falling for fake ones can have serious consequences. Always do your due diligence, and support a fair and honest freelancing community.
