Do you often check your page speed?
Tools like GTMetrix, Google Page Speed Insights or Cloudflare Speed Observatory (New) often reveal some crucial information how to improve your loading times. I'll be the first one to admit, I care more about this than I should. So I did some changes and got the following score: GTMETRIX: CLOUDFLARE: PAGE SPEED INSIGHTS: So there's still some room for improvement, although not much in my control. Feel free to share your scores. :D

What do you do as your job/career?
I own a car body shop where I do all sorts of repair and mechanic work. Been doing that since 2016 when I built my new place. Which is a shop of 325 square meters.

Reuters, CNN add website paywalls
That’s correct. Without sustaining their future, they wouldn’t exist to begin with. But more than often these things are not for the better of the client/user or in this case the reader/viewer. Where I live, media is actually subsidized by our government. Dunno how that is in other countries, but you’d think that’s enough, since most of those media corporations are a non profit organization.

Were forums more active during the pandemic?
I wasn’t around actually then, but from what I heard and saw, a huge rise in activity was going on.

Today was a fun day. There are days where I get to drive some serious pocket rockets or general high performance cars, but this one is worth some extra attention. What would you do if someone copied your forum or blog?
Copying someone’s forum or blog is more common than we might think, and it's a frustrating experience. Recently, something similar happened to vBulletin.org, with a site called [iCODE]vborg.vbsupport.ru[/iCODE] popping up as a direct copy. If this happened to you, how would you handle it? A few steps you could take: Contact the site owner: The first step is to try to reach out to the person who copied your content. Sometimes it’s a misunderstanding, and they may take it down voluntarily. Not likely, but you never know. Send a DMCA takedown notice: If the copied site is hosted in a region that respects copyright laws, sending a formal DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notice can possibly prompt their hosting provider to take the site down. Reach out to their hosting provider: If the site owner doesn’t respond, you can contact their hosting provider directly with evidence of the copied content. Publicly call it out: Sometimes shining a light on the situation can help, especially within the community. People are generally supportive of creators dealing with plagiarism. Consider legal action: As a last resort, you may want to consult a lawyer about pursuing legal action if the copied content is severely damaging to your brand or business. But know you'll need to have some sort of trademark present. What would you do if you found yourself in this situation?

Sam Altman on how to get your first 100 users
I would argue that this is a bit optimistic. Usually you see that more to being 1%. Out of 100 guests, you're only able to capture around 10 of those with your content. Out of those 10 persons, viewing your content, only 1 is likely to register. So therefor, if you want 100 users, you'll need at least 10000 visitors.

Wordpress VS WP Engine
It's surprising how he is still voicing his opinion. Surely by now his lawyers should've said he needs to shut up?

Wordpress VS WP Engine
It’s not interesting for a hobbyist to go this route. This kind of concept was designed was designed for businesses in the first place. And they wouldn’t simply delete your space overnight. You’d be given a notice months in advance.
