I agree. We have some great designers for that Daedalus :P https://administrata.net/designorders/
3. Yeah, took a bit of a pauze for a little more than a year.
4. I literally have never installed a vBulletin forum. Need to do that sometime just to check it out, but I’d probably never build a community on it.
5. I own a car body shop where I do all sorts of repair and mechanic work. Been doing that since 2016 when I built my new place. Which is a shop of 325 square meters.
6. That’s correct. Without sustaining their future, they wouldn’t exist to begin with. But more than often these things are not for the better of the client/user or in this case the reader/viewer. Where I live, media is actually subsidized by our government. Dunno how that is in other countries, but you’d think that’s enough, since most of those media corporations are a non profit organization.
7. I wasn’t around actually then, but from what I heard and saw, a huge rise in activity was going on.

Today was a fun day. There are days where I get to drive some serious pocket rockets or general high performance cars, but this one is worth some extra attention. 13. Copying someone’s forum or blog is more common than we might think, and it's a frustrating experience. Recently, something similar happened to vBulletin.org, with a site called [iCODE]vborg.vbsupport.ru[/iCODE] popping up as a direct copy. If this happened to you, how would you handle it? A few steps you could take: Contact the site owner: The first step is to try to reach out to the person who copied your content. Sometimes it’s a misunderstanding, and they may take it down voluntarily. Not likely, but you never know. Send a DMCA takedown notice: If the copied site is hosted in a region that respects copyright laws, sending a formal DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notice can possibly prompt their hosting provider to take the site down. Reach out to their hosting provider: If the site owner doesn’t respond, you can contact their hosting provider directly with evidence of the copied content. Publicly call it out: Sometimes shining a light on the situation can help, especially within the community. People are generally supportive of creators dealing with plagiarism. Consider legal action: As a last resort, you may want to consult a lawyer about pursuing legal action if the copied content is severely damaging to your brand or business. But know you'll need to have some sort of trademark present. What would you do if you found yourself in this situation?

16. I would argue that this is a bit optimistic. Usually you see that more to being 1%. Out of 100 guests, you're only able to capture around 10 of those with your content. Out of those 10 persons, viewing your content, only 1 is likely to register. So therefor, if you want 100 users, you'll need at least 10000 visitors.
17. It's surprising how he is still voicing his opinion. Surely by now his lawyers should've said he needs to shut up?
18. It’s not interesting for a hobbyist to go this route. This kind of concept was designed was designed for businesses in the first place. And they wouldn’t simply delete your space overnight. You’d be given a notice months in advance.
19. So you’ll supply everyone here on a 4k monitor? Great, thanks buddy.

What? 13 pages? That's a lie. Edit: shit it isn't.
24. I wanted to share something I read about a few days ago and have been following closely. Since most of us are familiar with WordPress, I figured it’s worth talking about here. There’s a major feud happening between WordPress and WP Engine. WP Engine is a big company with over 1,000 employees and a ton of clients, including businesses, schools, and charities. Recently, WordPress has banned WP Engine from using its resources, and this is causing serious problems for WP Engine and its customers. The ban stops them from getting updates to themes and plugins, leaving many sites vulnerable to security risks. The tension goes back to some disagreements between WP Engine and Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress. He’s accused WP Engine of profiting from WordPress without giving back enough. WP Engine, in turn, says they’re being unfairly targeted, even sending a cease-and-desist letter to try to stop what they see as false claims. For now, WordPress has temporarily allowed WP Engine users access to resources again, but it’s unclear what will happen next. It’s something to keep an eye on if you’re using WP Engine for your site or are just interested in how this all plays out. 25. Setting up VIP memberships is a fantastic way to reward your most dedicated members and generate additional income for your community. But the timing of when you launch VIP memberships is key to making it successful! Some thoughts: Your community must be active: Make sure there’s enough regular activity. VIP perks only work if people are already invested. You can offer something special: Have exclusive content, features, or benefits that people will actually want. No one cares about a bigger PM box size. Members are asking for more: If people are asking for premium features or ways to support the community, it’s a great sign you’re ready. You can manage it: Make sure you have the tools in place to handle payments and access smoothly. In short, launch VIP memberships when your community is thriving, there’s demand, and you’re ready to offer real value. When did you launch your VIP membership? And is the income generated enough to sustain your community?
