4. It's indeed repetitive and unnecessary. Repetitive isn't even the correct word, as it doesn't copy the posts to the comments or vice versa. It creates two different discussion outlets. But leaving them to the articles (and no discussion forum) makes them blend away to the background. Or you'd need to put them somewhere in the first page. But they often create cluttered appearances. While this is pretty much useless: The current setup is functional but far from ideal. It lets people know an article has been posted, but they still need to navigate to the Article tab to read it. XenForo’s core setup could definitely use improvements in this area. This approach works, but there's plenty of room for a more elegant solution.

Morning everyone. I’ve been on the edge of getting sick the last few days, but this morning I think it’s really breaking through. 😞
6. The dealer won’t arrive until tomorrow. Something with his plane being delayed. 🤔

The thing with tutorials and guides is that members typically don't contribute to them, so it falls on the staff to create and maintain this content. This is time-consuming and, in many cases, unnecessary. Why? Most webmasters are opting for platforms that don’t require much technical know-how (which is why options like Invision Community and XenForo Cloud are becoming so popular). Additionally, these kinds of tutorials are readily available elsewhere, and with tools like ChatGPT, getting answers to technical questions has never been easier. While it may have its limitations, ChatGPT is an effective tool for many technical inquiries. I appreciate the suggestion, though. I’m not completely opposed to a guides and tutorials section, but ideally, I'd like to see more interest and contributions from members before moving forward with it.

10. I guess that’s just how things evolve. You’re hired to do a thing, next your expected to do the other.
11. Welcome aboard Khan. Sorry to hear about your parrot. My condolences. But it’s cool to see that you’re keeping his memory alive! What kind of community had you planned on vbulletin? Thanks for the great feedback!
12. Good luck on the sale, hopefully you’ll find someone to take it over. :)
13. Best of luck in the sale. Hopefully you’ll find someone who wants to take it over.
14. I tend not to renew it once a year has passed and nothing is done with it. It’s like at home, we sometimes lose certain objects and randomly find them again after a year or so. Because we didn’t miss them or need them, we throw them in the bin, as part of cleaning. I apply the same to domains. I tried selling them and occasionally you can sell some, but most of the times they’re worthless to anyone else. enchantedtofu.com - sounds like a witchcraft rpg. unexpected.ly - cool domain, but no idea. questforstory.org - again, rpg. monolithforever.com - monolith was/is a game developer, so a fan based community. adventuresinthought.com - a website to browse and book adventures. wordowl.com - some mind games related to words. penfolio.net - a writers portfolio.
15. Sarah is like ChatGpt. Give her a prompt and she’ll design something mighty fine! 😄😂

19. [uSERGROUP=2]@everyone[/uSERGROUP] get your nominations in, it would be appreciated! :)
20. And for 99% people that is sufficient too. Anyone can fuck up sometimes. And often, it's not even by our doings.
21. Aye, when something technical happens, I do tend to stress a bit about it. There's something shameful for me personally to see my server offline. It shows an incapability. I know that's a bit exaggerated, but you know what I mean. I'm always relieved when it's all fixed and working perfectly. Luckily this doesn't happen too often, and I know there's always some people willing to help when I ask.
22. And for the same reason, I wouldn't like to find out the limits. Instead, I'm much more comfortable with a server that I know can take it. I do monitor it sometimes, but I don't need to worry about it this way and wonder when we'll hit our limits.

As I've said to Al - this is not a bad deal. I hope you'll get lots of interests. :)
24. Yes. Sadly that is a bit true. I’m also desperately afraid of running out of resources one day. Waking up, to see my server being offline or overwhelmed. I know that isn’t likely to happen overnight (unless a technical failure) but I’m honestly not fussed about it being over-spec’ed. It’s costing me a little over 40USD a month, so.. 😅
25. I remember the good old 1.6 days, when Audentio made some killer themes.
