  1. Domain investing is really a very different and separate business. Something I don't know much about. But I'd hate to pay renewal for more than 100 domains, let a lone thousands. I know a guy who does this, he has over 500 Flippa listings, but most are very garbage domains. But he once told me, "it only takes one good sale" - which has a good point. However, I wonder if he made that one good sale yet....

Sounds like jCodes has been growing significantly this year. Hope it continues to keep up for a long time!
  3. Seldom really. The only time that happens is when I install a new development version. Instead keeping an old version, I'd like to copy the latest and do whatever it is that I want to do, on the newest version. So in a sense, I am testing it, just not as regularly as I probably should.
  4. Greetings [uSERGROUP=2]@everyone[/uSERGROUP] ! We’ve been discussing a new event behind the scenes and we’re finally excited to announce a new monthly initiative to celebrate the incredible work of our community leaders: the Admins in Action spotlight! Each month, we’ll showcase one inspiring admin who has made a positive impact in their community. This is your chance to nominate someone whose story deserves to be told! Here’s how it works: We’ll host a live event featuring the selected admin, where we’ll ask them questions about their journey, successes, challenges, and tips for managing and growing communities. Once our questions are done, the floor will open up to member-submitted questions for a more interactive discussion. After the event concludes, we’ll compile the highlights into an overview and post it in our Articles section, so the whole community can learn from their insights. Who would you like to see featured in our Admins in Action spotlight? Share your nominations below! If you’d like to nominate anonymously, you can DM me the name. :) Together, we can continue to empower and inspire each other as admins. Thanks!
  5. That isn't a surprise though. Google has invested loads into Reddit: https://fortune.com/2024/02/23/reddit-60m-deal-google-search-giant-train-ai-models-on-posts/
  6. It all depends on the quality. The point of buying posts is to have it as organic as possible. That's where the difference lies between many people offering these services. Genuine interest. No one likes to read long posts that don't come off sincere and genuinely. The usual rate is 100 posts for 10 USD, that is generally adapted everywhere. Anything above that should have an organic feeling. As for reviews, this is usually a much bigger piece that involves a few hours work. I haven't actually purchased any review services before, except for services offered for a virtual currency. But I'd say that reviews are at least worth 5-10 USD per review. And if you translate that to a real life job payment, that is still severely under paid, which is why you need to enjoy doing it, or you won't keep up with it.
  7. I'm now closing this event for new registrations. Still have to finish a few which will be done soon. I hope you all had fun! :) New contests and events will be up soon, but in the meantime check out our voting threads: [EMBED content=thread-418]https://administrata.net/threads/thankful-for-you-community-appreciation-event-voting.418/[/EMBED] [EMBED content=thread-413]https://administrata.net/threads/november-site-of-the-month-contest-time-to-vote.413[/EMBED]
  8. I've also seen several videos online of that same thing. And I tend to agree, but I knew beforehand it would be scripted. It's all about money, the bets, the revenue. I saw Drake bet more than 300k on Tyson's win. He's probably furious, lol.
  9. Merged your two threads into one, seeing you added it to the Directory. :)

38 more days. :giggle: When do you all put your Christmas tree up?
  11. I think the primary difference between .co and .com comes down to awareness and user behavior. Most people are naturally accustomed to typing .com because it’s the most widely recognized and established domain extension. While .co isn’t as well-known, which leads to less intuitive use by the general public
  12. What add on would you like to see?
  13. Most from Icyboards were converted to Jcink. While sporks didn’t want to sell out (even though Tapatalk tried), he did offer the possibility to export the database free of charge.
  14. I know a shiny new resource or add-on won't magically build a thriving community, but there's something undeniably exciting about checking out the latest releases for XenForo. Whether it's a sleek new theme, a feature-packed add-on, or even just a small tweak that makes life easier, I always find myself drawn to the possibilities they bring. Do you get that same feeling? What kind of resources catch your eye the most—are you all about the aesthetics, the functionality, or something else entirely?
  15. I think on that regards XF is a bit better than SMF. But still I understand your struggle, since most humans don't exactly have the most patience, and don't understand you have a job outside making and supporting add ons.
  16. https://xenforo.com/community/threads/about-my-addons-and-my-retirement.226892/ With over 675 add ons to his list, and 50 still being under development, it's safe to say that Ozzy47 has made a major impact to XenForo. There isn't an XF board not running an add on from him, most likely. He'll be passing the torch to Painbaker who is more than capable of taking over.
  17. Most men if his age struggle tying their shoes. So it’s nothing to be proud of. It was showbiz, not a fight,

  19. No error on my end. I did register yesterday and haven’t received a confirmation email. It’s probably not correctly setup.
  20. [mention=5]Cpvr[/mention] is the GOAT!
  21. Just saw a few videos of this ridiculous scripted thing. I’m so glad I didn’t stay up for this shit. Netflix, Jake and Mike, you all should be ashamed.

Howdy Chadook! Welcome aboard. Pleasure having you here. :giggle:
  23. I love how Jake says it didn't hurt.... Nah bro. But you didn't see it coming either. I'm hoping the whole thing isn't too much scripted. But let's be real, if it's genuinely like it should be, Mike will knock him out easily and quickly.
  24. A new thread will be posted. And you should get an alert too when that happens. :)
  25. Yeah, it’s hard. I have the same thing. I’ve got something planned which is in almost ready to launch state but I’ve been focusing so much on Administrata that it’s impossible for me to concentrate on something else.
