Additionally, you will now see a new activity feed on the top of the forum, quickly informing you of new content such as new posts, new threads, forum promotion, marketplace offers, resources and anything else featured. Forums their traffic levels are too low to really bring in a good income by ads. Google gives you pennies, unless you have over millions of monthly views - but that level isn't reached in a couple of years, it takes decades. And if you haven't gotten to that level today, then it's likely you never will. The traffic for forums are declining by the day, that is just a fact. I don't understand people with new forums, just immediately slapping on google ads. Not only does it make you look desperate for money, it's horrible from a guest/member point of view and you'll likely drive away more traffic than you'll gain. Stop doing it. You can try to gain some private advertising parties, but your site is most likely too small anyway. So as [mention=624]Senkusha[/mention] says, if you don't have any value for your members, you will die out sooner rather than later. Just because your forum isn't taken offline, doesn't mean it's flourishing. Do it because you enjoy it, not because you're desperate for money. That is the hard truth.

Sometimes converting gives that extra push to get started with an audience. But it is a risk. It's always a risk. Only do it, if you're willing to take your loss.

Hi everyone! I have some news to share. It's been coming for a while, but we're sad to see it nonetheless. As many of you may know, Administrata was originally ForumDir. A simple directory to list your website. Due to countless discussions with Al, we transformed FD to Administrata. He's the one who invented the original name, and concept. So we have many things to thank him for. I want to say thanks [mention=2]Al[/mention] for your great service and thoughts. It's not a good bye, but a see you later. :) I know I have been a bit absent as well, this should improve again sometime over the next two weeks. You may expect some changes coming soon.
