Of course. Engagement is what makes us happy. A dead forum is what makes us demotivated. I remember a time when we had over 1k posts a day. It's still possible, but rarely see it nowadays.

I’ve never been a fan of post exchanges. More often than not, you don’t get what you expect - or anything at all. Unless there’s a strong reason to do it, like networking, advertising, or engaging with a forum in the same niche, it rarely feels worthwhile. If it seems like a waste of time, it probably is. That time would be better spent creating great content for your own forum instead.

The only niche that I could see this work is for RPG forums. Anything else is bound to be abused. So personally, I see a red flag raising when I see multiple accounts.
