Most of the traffic coming from these countries are mailicious and they’re searching for vulnerabilities in your server & scripts.

I have them block as well.

I’d also block hwclouds on the ASN level as they’ll hit you with a bunch of bot traffic as well.

Well, Russia is in wannabe Soviet Union mode, so I'm not shocked.

I watch a YouTuber called Sabatical. He travels the world. I noticed he got arrested and imprisoned in Russia for a little while. They look for every chance they get to mess with a foreigner.
