What control panels have you used on a server?

I have used different control panels on various servers, depending on the operating system and the hosting provider. Some of the most common ones are cPanel, Plesk, Webmin, and DirectAdmin. Control panels are useful tools that allow you to manage your server settings, domains, email accounts, databases, security, and more. They also provide a graphical user interface (GUI) that makes it easier to perform tasks without using the command line.

I've always been most fond of cPanel. It's what I have been using for over 15 years. The increase of cost in unfortunate but it still wouldn't drive me away from cPanel.

A few months ago I purchased a VPS with WHM and 5 cPanel accounts on it, and I've learned a bunch of new things, commands, server stuff, cache, etc.

I'd never go back to shared hosting, even if it's for one website.

I agree; I've gone to other panels in the past and lasted a few days, then switched back lol; as for shared hosting, it's been years for me since I've used it.

Cpanel is my go to control panel. I don’t like using any other control panel when it pertains to managing my websites.

cPanel, DirectAdmin, the Cloudways one, the Kinsta one, the SiteGround one, and whatever we rigged up ourselves between Jenkins, GoCD, AWS and ELK at my previous workplace.

Also bare metal sysadmin if it comes down to it.

Dreamhost has its own custom control panel.

They recently upgraded it, and it took some getting used to. I didn't like the new one at first, but it has grown on me.

It's really easy to find everything.
