If I can think of one of latest new features that came into existence for forums usage today, it's going to be Microlikes. It's a tipping based reward system for forums. It allows users to tip each other and also receive tips. The Microlikes can be withdrawn through PayPal or Litecoin when you have enough to be processed.

This is a new innovative way to encourage the use of forums which is rewarding those who are using forums where Microlikes is enabled.

Have you considered using Microlikes in your forum?

I have MicroLikes enabled in one forum that I co-own and will be adding it to other forums when I can. I do like the concept of MicroLikes and how it is being used to reward communities for their contributions to your community.

I am looking forward to seeing more about the future of MicroLikes.

How has Microlikes impacted your community? Has there been a difference in your forum’s activity or an increase in new users since you implemented Microlikes?

I think Microlikes are an interesting concept, especially in the context of online engagement. They allow for quick, subtle interactions without the commitment of a full like or comment, which can make social platforms feel more dynamic and interactive. However, on the flip side, they might reduce the depth of engagement, as users may opt for quick taps rather than meaningful contributions. It’s a balance between convenience and genuine interaction. Overall, Microlikes seem like a way to enhance user experience, but they shouldn't replace more meaningful engagement.

Thank you for asking that question, I have seen it in multiple places, but I was waiting for others to make their comments.
I may not be the most indicated to answer it since I have a direct interest on it. But at the same time I am the one with the most experience with it.

I can say that by my own experience on my forum and most forums that joined, many users joined those forums for their interest in MicroLikes; to earn and/or to learn more and activity sky rocked on some of them. Specially those forums that start using MicroLikes in creative ways.

I also have read may comments from microlikes users wishing their favorite forum were integrated with MicroLikes.

MicroLikes will not impact your forum if you just add it and magically expect results. Not because someone install xenforo from a previous free software makes their community more active or gain more users. As a forum owner you have to make your own magic. MicroLikes it's just a new tool that can seriously create massive activity if you take the time learn how to use it properly.

As a forum owner, you have to be willing to spend money in your community to make it to the next level.

Instead spending time and money with advertisers, spend it with your community through tips. Give MicroLikes and redeem them yourself and you will see how effective MicroLikes it is. Your users will promote you everywhere because you are benefiting them ( you don't even have to ask them ) and the users by themselves will bring their friends to your community.

You may be thinking that you can do that with money without using MicroLikes. Well, how do you send a tip instantly to a user of $0.05 without getting paypal
taking that small tip away? That's why Micro Likes it's all about. You can do cross-forum promotions with micro transaction.

Now, MicroLikes hasn't implemented 99% of its potential. What about using MicroLikes to buy/sell little things that are not possible due to payment processors
high transaction fees? MicroLikes can play a major role on anything related to forums and its users.

What about if through MicroLikes API you can sell let's say "bold font" in the signature, what about if you can sell just "one extra link" in signature without creating an entire package. Right now it's not worth it to charge even $1.00 for a link in a signature because PayPal as example will take $0.70+ out of it. With MicroLikes these things are possible, and the list of opportunities that MicroLikes can bring to your forum it's just unimaginable at this point.

But only those with wider views can see more.....
