Have you monetized your community with any advertising networks? If yes, which ad networks have you used to monetize your community? If no, do you prefer to monetize your community in other ways?

Google AdSense used to work brilliantly for me and my forums, and enabled us to earn a small but significant income that we could use to invest in extra features, advertising, graphics & such for the site, but this was many years ago. I've heard many stories of people not having such a good time with AdSense in the last five years or so especially, so I'm unsure if there's another network that people who are running ads on their website are generally using now, or if people are just putting up with a mediocre service from Google.

I wonder if it depends on the ad positions that you’re using with Google Adsense as they’re as some positions that don’t perform so well.

Google adsense is also blocked by some ad blockers as well, so that might be why it’s not a huge revenue earner like it used to be.

In the past, it wasn’t blocked by a lot of ad blockers.
