Hello, I'm Al.
Administration
thanksgiving event (1).webp
It’s time to recognise the outstanding contributions of our community members. The Community Appreciation Event (VOTING) is your chance to choose the nominee you believe has made the most significant impact. Each nomination highlights someone who has gone above and beyond, whether through leadership, support, or simply making this space more engaging and welcoming.

Below, you’ll find anonymised nominations detailing why each person deserves recognition. Take a moment to read through them and consider who has made the biggest difference to you or the community as a whole. Then, cast your vote in the poll to show your appreciation. Every vote counts in celebrating the individuals who help make our community thrive.

Nomination One:
This person consistently writes useful and engaging posts, contributes to the community in a positive way, and helps other forum owners through post exchanges.

Nomination Two:
A hardworking individual whose dedication to the community deserves recognition.

Nomination Three:
Highly knowledgeable in tech, this person has demonstrated their expertise recently and has been invaluable in addressing admin questions with detailed insights beyond what most users can provide.

Nomination Four:
Extremely helpful and supportive during challenging times. If they keep it up, they’ll soon be a well-known figure in the forum space.

Nomination Five:
A trustworthy and transparent individual. Their human qualities have earned my respect and trust, which I don’t give easily.

Nomination Six:
A proven leader who has shaped how our system operates and contributed many valuable ideas. I’m proud to have them on our team.

Nomination Seven:
An active member who creates engaging threads and posts that encourage participation and discussion.

Nomination Eight:
Exceptionally professional, always going above and beyond. They’re helpful, knowledgeable, and reliable, never shying away from a challenge.

Nomination Nine:
A recent addition to the community who brings warmth and positivity, making Administrata an even better place.

Vote for the nominee you feel best deserves this recognition. The winning nominee and nominator will be announced on Thanksgiving Day. The nominee with the most votes will win a prize of 1500 credits and the person who nominated them will win a prize of 500 credits which can be spent in any way they wish.

Sadly, I discovered this just now.
Maybe this could be opened for one or more days so that we can have more votes

Honestly, they should just reveal who all the nine people are and give something to all who were nominated and nominated someone. The act of acknowledging someone who is recognition worthy is just as reward worthy as being recognition worthy in my opinion.

People gave their nominations in confidence. I shan't break that confidence - other than to announce the winner.

I can respect that and wouldn't want you to do that either. I hope a future iteration of this contest if it ever gets held gets noticed more and gets more votes as this one was rather disappointing in that regard.
