Do you think social media helps with building content? What social media do you use for your forum/site?

Honestly, no. Social media is such a divergent thing now that it feels impossible to generate traffic from it.

Social media hasn't generated traffic for any of the sites I've been on staff or owned. I've tried different methods too with posts/videos, etc and none of it has brought new sign ups. Google is our friend though...sometimes.

I've never seen SM generate much of anything for any sites I'm on, I tried them when I had gaming sites however they made no difference.
