Recruiting Community Staff member for mindsConnected

I am looking for someone who is suitable to fill the role of Community Staff for my forum, more so to take the place of one person who resigned from the position a month ago.

Just so anybody knows, this is basically a moderator position but has its extra perks, such as engaging with the community in general (as well as welcoming in new members) but also help create new content across the forum. The titles of them being SEO-friendly can help too.

The position is open for anyone, whether they're an existing member on said forum or not. Also, the offer is completely free.

If you're interested, do drop me a PM and we can discuss this further (along with past experience you may wish to share with me).

I look forward to anyone that comes forward :) (y)

If this is a paid position, I am interested. You might want to check this out.

If this is a non paid posititon, what is in it for the Community Staff?

Volunteer work is often a great way to gain experience in community management, especially for those interested in learning how to manage a forum, moderate discussions, and engage with a community. It can also build transferable skills for other online communities or even professional roles.

I actually started as a volunteer moderator myself 22 years ago, so I personally don’t see nothing wrong with forum owners seeking volunteer moderators, it’s a stepping stone that can lead to more advanced roles later on. Many of us who now run communities or work in online moderation started the same way.

The OP already clarified that this is a volunteer role, not a paid position.
So, the incentive is really about gaining experience, building relationships, and contributing to a community. For some, that’s fulfilling in itself, while for others, it can be a stepping stone toward future paid roles in community management.

Yes, it is a voluntary position... and, I'm sorry to say this, but I'd rather keep my finances safe for personal reasons. Hope anyone here understands and won't put them off for ever wanting any staff position I ever offer here.
