Paying for hosting monthly or yearly?

Some hosting providers allow you to monthly or yearly, but as a forum owner, which option do you prefer to pay? Do you like paying for your server on a monthly basis or do you prefer to pay for your server on a yearly basis?

Personally, I always pay monthly as I'd rather not pay yearly, but what about you? Which payment option is your preferred?

I prefer to pay yearly. That's one less bill I have to worry about each month. In fact, my annual hosting bill is coming up in May! Looks like it's time to dig out the credit card...

Pretty much the same.

I prefer to pay yearly myself, which is what I'm doing with Hostinger. As for the other hosts I use, I pay monthly. It's easier to deal with a yearly subscription IMO.

If I had a shared hosting account, I'd likely pay annually because it's like $150 at most for most of them.

For my VPS, it's close to $200 a month. I'd rather pay monthly because annual is a big chunk of money. If I got a discount for annual, I might reconsider.

I use Forumotion hosting so there is nothing to pay. You can buy domain if you want or extra space for images and stuff. However, when it comes to natural posts, topics there are no limitations of course. And I don't really need anything more than that. I know I am tied with them once I get there but I've seen some active forums who have very bad design of functionality but what it comes down to are faithful (so to say) members who stick together. A good community.

I pay for my hosting monthly, it's only a few bucks and it's on a PayPal recurring payment so I hardly notice it. That being said, I haven't actually actively used any of my hosting services for months now, so it's probably time for me to think about whether it's worth bothering to continue with it.
