So, finally ordered my new gaming PC.

Nice to see an all AMD build. Are you going to be doing a lot of encoding or other high memory tasks for 64GB?
64GB is definitely a bit overkill, I’ll admit. Aside from some gaming, Photoshop, accounting, and everyday browsing, I’ll probably never use even half of that. But like I said—it’s future-proof. You never know what I might end up doing that could demand more. I’ve been meaning to get into video editing too, and with the new computer, that might happen sooner rather than later.
 
Damn that's a nice build! Even if it's a bit overkill for what you're doing, but hey there's nothing wrong with that! Better to have a powerhouse than something that's obsolete.

My current laptop is almost 9 years old. Was never a top spec, but a good business laptop. High end gaming was never possible. Still it’s good to do normal stuff on. The PC is double that price. So this new PC needs to last at least 8 years. 🤣
But the good thing is just swappable parts. If needed, I can upgrade systematically.
