Is my website being typosquatted/copied?

I accidentally misspelled my website fpstips.com and landed on this website fpstip.com they use fake authors and have a very similar domain months after I created my site, do you think this is coincidence or copycat/typosquatting. I know my site is small but I think this is funny/weird.

Yeah I mean it could be. Probably not. If its a scrape it won't last too long. But certainly you haven't suffered any financial or ip losses to back up any supposed crime. You would have to prove copyright violation and/or trademark dilution. But it ain't easy.

But it's always smart to look for those things.

Yeah I don’t plan on pursuing anything, I was just surprised when I accidentally stumbled across this site lol

I think it’s purely coincidence. Maybe they wanted your domain since yours makes more sense.

I'm with Cedric on this one, they probably wanted the domain name you snatched up. Unless they start making their website look identical to yours down to the theme, content etc. I wouldn't worry about it much.
