who has hit the 5000 limit of facebook for friends

I don’t. I have close to 2,000 friends on facebook though. But they’re mainly all my friends and family members.

Might want to have a page instead of a profile. I’ve seen facebook deleting business/community profiles because they need to setup a page instead. But congrats! It’s weird that there’s a 5k limit.

But I’ve only got like 250 friends, I don’t add anyone else that I don’t know.

I haven't reached the friend limit on my Facebook account. I have two accounts one with 3k+ friends, and another with 2200+ friends. I also manage a Facebook group with 1.4k members.

When I did actively use Facebook, I had like 50- friends. Goes to show how few people I've befriended in my life.

Currently we don't have a Facebook because the forum isn't up and running but once it is I will create a Facebook for it

Facebook Pages or Groups are the place to move if you've hit the friend limit on a personal account and you want to expand.

As a teenager when I was a regular Facebook'er, I was always at the friend limit on my account and would have to remove people before adding new ones... which wasn't a problem seeing as the vast majority of the friends I had on there I didn't know anyhow. It is depressing to think how much more dangerous the internet has become over the last 10-15 years for teenagers, no way would I ever allow any of my nieces or nephews to randomly add people on Facebook nowadays...

I have over 1,000 members in a group on Facebook but I haven't used the platform in over a month. I have way too many friends on Facebook too, I have over 500 because I added a bunch of people back in the day to play Mafia Wars. xD
