So, I'm going to put this person to the wall of shame. Because I think they're most likely running a nulled forum since they can't purchase an add on due to not having a legit Xenforo license. Now, I doubt this person is using a real name. But here we are, this is the most odd PM I received in a while. Perhaps I should take on the offer and run away. :ROFLMAO:

I’ve had emails just like that for XF and told them if they were legit they could buy it themselves and not need me!

Oops, I expected a different type of "questionable" since I'm a woman, but okay. My answer to both would be YES, I have. I try to not engage with people who do that or I am very cold and straight forward in my response. If they're spammy, they are kicked off the site.

Thankfully I never had anyone come to me and beg me to buy a plugin for them. :P I only got spam, nothing too out of the ordinary just links to suspicious downloads which of course I didn't click on.

I definitely had a different thought when I read "questionable PM". :ROFLMAO:

In this vain, when I used to run my forum we had several custom plugins that were built just for our site. I had countless PMs and emails on a weekly basis from people who wanted access to the plugin, people trying to buy the forum off me, people asking for help to code their own plugins etc... considering I didn't code the plugins to begin with, I was the wrong person for them to be asking... lol. That being said, the vast majority of times I didn't even reply to these emails or PMs, unless they were from a member who was already established on the forum. Quite often, these messages were from newbies or people without an account but who just liked the look of the features we had.
