Best free video editing software

Currently I am working on videos for my business Facebook & Instagram page however I am looking for a good free video editing software. I am a newb so I want something that will be easy for me to use and understand. I want free software because at this point I am not able to afford paying for it though in the future that may change.

I look forward to hearing what video editing software everyone uses.

Da Vinci Resolve.

Truth be told, it should be a paid script (there is a paid version but there difference for a beginner is not noticeable). It requires some research to use properly, but there are hundreds, if not thousands of YouTube videos on the subject.

DaVinci Resolve is my favorite free editor, but I also like Kdenlive as well. There is a limit on how many effects you can use in DaVinci Resolve, but I've only hit that limit once so it's likely you won't hit that limit.
