Case Study Do your forum members use mobile?
I do when I'm on the go - and I browse and make quick posts there, but any long-form posts wait until I'm on my PC. I don't know the exact number - but a fairly significant percentage of my forum's members use mobile at least some of the time.- Kyng

Have you taken any breaks from being an admin?
I took a break for 3 weeks towards the end of 2021, because I was feeling burnt out. I then took another 10-day break in July 2023 - because I was starting to get burned out again - so I thought it was best to take a short break then in order to avoid having to take a longer break later.- Kyng

Moderation Merging vs locking threads
Yeah, merging is my preferred choice, for exactly that reason. There are exceptions, of course: for example, if it's a forum game, then I can't really merge the threads without breaking the flow of the existing game. But if there's no good reason not to merge, then I will.- Kyng
