  1. Foundation What Hasn't Been An Forum Subject/project yet?

I'll have to admit that I rush to register the new phrases; I've yet to be the first at a popular one though. You can catch a real winner... Take Covid-19.com for example Registered On 2020-02-11T15:13:12Z. The person who picked that up could've easily flipped it for 6 figures within a month...

I mean, I still need to make the announcement post on the forum. Care to share some skin so I can share my experience? :ROFLMAO:
  3. Foundation What Hasn't Been An Forum Subject/project yet?

I track domains that I want to purchase, and can certainly say that I've come across some weird fetish forum domains that go to auction. The last one, I had to look up the word for. That being said, it was a word [I forgot] that was the enjoyment of wearing other people's skin [word]forum.com...
  4. Is a blog really just a forum with other users unable to post "new threads"?

Can't this go for communities too, big and small? Groups tend to favor individuals, whether they be senior members or staff members. Now, while it might be more than 1 person, I have been a part of a community where the most favored was 1 person (a big board), and the brand was essentially him...
  5. Is a blog really just a forum with other users unable to post "new threads"?

This is probably the main factor in deciphering the two because the target audience surely overlaps, be it few-to-many or many-to-many.
  6. Is a blog really just a forum with other users unable to post "new threads"?

Shower thought. Surely, internet boards came first...

  8. Foundation Requiring Strong Passwords

They can have whatever password they want. If they want password, so be it. Just don't complain when your account is "hacked". Spamming will be picked up on pretty quickly and the account will be locked, so there are no worries there. Only on a professional forum (in the works) will require it...

  11. What's the first social media site you used?

MySpace. It fell apart after Tom left. Now, I'm stuck with the Zucc (Facebook).
  12. Moderation What's your moderation style?

Formerly RealShit, now ROFLMAO, was founded on the principle of free speech. Be Funny. Be Serious. Be You. You can't "be you" if you are confined to a box of rules, which go against the principles of free speech. No words are censored. That said, users can tread on the following "harassment...
  13. General Why do people buy forums and just leave them to die?

A forum I abandoned that had 500 solid messages/50 articles was making $30-50 a month for several months before repurposing the license. Now that I have a new licenses, I might boot it back up in "read only" just for supplemental investment income for another license or further development. As...

  16. How much longer can Facebook stay relevant?

They're good at copying. But, are they good at user retention? I believe Threads reported something like 275 million users. However, what formula are they using for that? Did they pump Instagram accounts into it? Does viewing a Threads post from a Facebook feed include them as a Threads user? I...

So it's essentially going to skip the implode() (or other means) function if you request it as a pretty string instead?
  18. Php 8.4 has been released: What’s new

Would you still be able to get an array or would you need to convert that to an array? Is it more of asking how you wanted it presented instead of only given the option (that I know of) to get an array?
  19. Domains you don't know what to do with?

If they pursue it, privacy protection is released in a UDRP. So, your name will forever live on, and be a stain to your reputation. https://www.adrforum.com/DomainDecisions/1964713.htm
