On my site, most of the members know me by an old nickname I used, but for my account I use a different spelling (Daphne) of my real name (Dafna). Just because it's easier. On all other sites, I alternate between using my middle name for my account's name or I'll use 'ladyquack'. Most of my site's longtime members know what I look like, but I've had issues with stalkers in the past, so I prefer not to use pictures of myself as my profile picture.

My forum's stats are kind of not where they should be, considering the site's been open for 22 years. However, in the early days, threads were regularly deleted after a certain point (usually a month or two) to keep the forums "clean" and members were able to delete their accounts (we're an RPG) themselves and would often delete and remake a character several times. Our version 1 forum archive has 122,873 posts, most of which aren't present on the current forum, and the last registered member was member number 25,927. On our current forum, we have 1,956 registered members and 138,469 posts in 12,158 topics.

It was probably in the late 90s/early 00s and I'd been reading a lot of Lord of the Rings fanfic. If I remember correctly, someone had mentioned a LOTR RPG site and I was curious, so I joined. Been living the forum life ever since.

I'll join a site regardless of what forum software they use. I care more about content, activity, and if their theme allows me to navigate the site easily.

I'm at that stage in life where I sometimes forget how old I am, but the last time I checked I had just turned 36. I live in the USA. I have two kids and a cat. I love playing video games (mainly FFXIV, Dead by Daylight, and Dragon Age: Inquisition). I dabble in photography and digital art from time to time. I've been on forums since 200..3? Somewhere in the early 2000s. I've been adminning forums since 2007. I mainly use SMF and Jcink, but I do have some experience with MyBB and Xenforo.
