Let's talk about Code Forum. Code Forum is a community that developers trust to help them exceed expectations. Where developers can learn, share and build their developer toolkit. Our mission is to help each other learn, develop and share by providing a community that supports each other through discussion & question-based threads to provide resources that will give developers the upper hand in creating their projects.

Our Community
Code Forum is full of amazing developers who strive to learn and help others succeed. Developers on Code Forum are friendly and often considered extremely helpful and passionate about their work. So many developers come through Code Forum's doors for help daily - many are often leaving feeling accomplished.

Developers like yourself often come to Code Forum seeking help with many different problems and challenges. We have an amazing bunch of developers who try their best to help as many of their fellow devs as possible. In addition, many developers are considered experts in their field and can provide amazing help with detailed instructions.

At Code Forum, our goal is to help developers learn and conquer their challenges. That's why we strongly encourage research and learning how to solve a problem rather than giving the solution on a silver platter.

Currently, Code Forum is shy of 6,100 developers while growing by about 3-5 registrations per day.

Our Staff
We currently have 7+ staff members, many with different roles, skills and responsibilities. We have a team of moderators called Guardians - they monitor and engage with the community. Their part is to moderate the forums and be the best coder they can be.

We also have a team responsible for keeping the content on Code Forum safe. They review posts flagged by our guardian team that they think may be suspicious and require review by our content security analyst, who will review the post and its contents.

Many new roles are opening soon, from technical teams to content creation and graphic designers. In addition, we will constantly be looking for new talent as Code Forum grows. So don't be shy and reach out!

Our staff are encouraged to work on projects that may help Code Forum and boost engagement. We're going to be rolling them out soon. Feel free to reach out.

Our future
Our future is bright and promising. The world is full of complex and challenging problems requiring skilled developers to develop complex solutions. In part, we will continue to evaluate developer trends and adapt.

Code Forum will always aim to provide developers with quality content and resources. We are currently working on many projects and plan on starting many more to boost engagement, visuals, content and discoverability.

Here are a few of the many areas we're investing our time (I will try to update this every year):
  • Working on creating new content, such as tutorials and guides.
  • Developing tools, UI and features to improve developer experience on Code Forum.
  • Creating a roadmap to help visualize new changes coming to Code Forum. Mind you, these will be soft targets.
  • Increase our monitoring capabilities to view developer trends and adapt Code Forum to meet those trends.
Getting Started...

When visiting Code Forum, you may encounter a Cloudflare security check on some visits; please don't be alarmed. We use Cloudflare to mitigate any DDoS attacks. So you may sometimes be required to complete an additional captcha; however, if you continue to use the same IP, you should only have to go through this process a few times a year.

Anyone can register for Code Forum for free; developers under the age of 13 are presumed to have parental consent. All new registrations will require approval from staff - rest assured this process can be relatively quick (within 24 hours). We require approval for new accounts to help mitigate spam posting.

You are welcome to register and sign up using your favourite provider at https://codeforum.org. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We're on most social media platforms and can be reached at [email protected].
